F1 2022 will be the new edition of the official game of the most important motor racing competition in the world. The game, which this time is published by EA after the takeover of Codemasters, promises to once again be a benchmark in the driving genre.
With its release date set for this summer, the game will bring some novelties both in its gameplay and in its game modes, where it seems that the My Team mode will continue to be the star. However, not everything will be good news, and it seems that the standard version of the game will not have Smart Delivery.
F1 2022 follows the trend of the latest EA games
For the most clueless, Smart Delivery is an Xbox feature that allows us to have the old and current versions of a game when we get it. This will not happen with the standard version of F1 2022, which we can only get with Xbox One or Xbox Series, without it being useful for both versions. If we want to have this possibility we have no choice but to buy the Champions Editionwhich will have a higher price.
This move by EA isn’t new, and in fact, the latest games the company released weren’t compatible with Smart Delivery either. This, yes, F1 2022 will enable cross-gentherefore we will not have problems with its multiplayer (although this cross-play is not available).
