After many years Street Fighter vwill again have a film adaptation. According to recent versions, the rights of the Capcom saga they would have been acquired by Legendary Entertainment with the idea of bringing the franchise back to the big screen and even adapting the material to different series.
At the moment the details of the feature film are not known, nor the title or the characters of the saga who will be the protagonists of this production.

Street Fighter has already hit theaters a few times. In 1994, the famous, although much criticized, created A film by Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kylie Minogue, Ming-Na Wen and the late Raul Julia. The production over the years gained “cult” status but was initially not well received at all. Ten years later, 2oth Century Fox bet again on IP with the release of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, but once again the feature flopped at the box office and the press.
The movie news is just coming a few months before the release of Street Fighter 6 which will arrive precisely on June 2 on Xbox Series X / S. The title will have 18 playable characters at launch with several more DLCs coming later.
