The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is getting a DLC pack for Halloween and the Rush Week game mode is coming.
Gun Interactive announced the release of a new Halloween-themed DLC for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and its newest game mode Rush Week.
The Halloween Pack allows players to outfit the Sorority Girls with a variety of new outfits: Witch, Cowgirl, Nun, Devil, or Kitten.
At the start of each match you can choose what you want to wear. It will then be customized to the Sorority Girl you will spawn as.
Although the Halloween Pack is intended for the Rush Week game mode, it is NOT included in the TCSM Content Pass.
Interested players will have the opportunity to purchase the Halloween Pack from the store of their preferred platform starting Tuesday, October 22nd for $4.99.
In other news from Texas, the team at Gun Interactive recently published a new post on their Community Hub explaining and illustrating some of the recent changes to the game’s grapple system.
Gun Interactive’s brand manager, mattshotcha, commented on these changes as follows:
“With this rework of the grapple system, we wanted to make the melee mechanics feel more natural. We wanted the one hit kill removed because it doesn’t feel fair for a victim to have full health and be killed in one shot by a family member. Conversely, it doesn’t feel fair to be Hands or Johnny and lose a hand-to-hand fight to Connie. For this reason, we thought it made sense to take into account the characters’ size, attributes, etc.
Now, when you go into a close-combat situation to defend yourself against the family, you do so from a more informed position about how risky that might be and whether you want to avoid the encounter or rush into the attack.”
