The Yakuza saga has seen spectacular sales on PC

SaGa, sales, spectacular, Yakuza

From Japan we get a lot of unique video games. It’s hard for a waiter to keep one of them, but I have to admit the Yakuza saga was successful in winning me over. This saga knows how to perfectly blend a grown-up and very well-told story with a fantastic playable base and very funny elements of humor, resulting in games that are worth playing one after the other.

Sega has been through some rough times the past few years, but thanks to Yakuza and Total War above all else, he’s managed to get off the ground, and the truth is he’s having a great time right now. Specifically, the Japanese company announced that Yakuza sales on PC are fantastic, reaching the figure of 2.8 million units sold.

The next Yakuza could be the sequel to Like a Dragon

According to the company, the saga’s multiplatform approach has allowed it to reach as many players as possible, and since 2019, sales have grown steadily. That figure only includes numbered installments and Like a Dragon, leaving out spinoffs like Jugdment.

It remains to be seen what will be the next installment of the saga that will hit the market, even if everything seems to indicate that it will be a continuation of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
