We are already rapidly moving away from 2022 and GOTYs and similar rankings are starting to disappear to make way for more topical news. But there are still a few unknowns to be resolved, such as the winners of the 2022 Steam awards, which have already been fully resolved. The most interesting feature of them is that those who vote are neither more nor less than the public, the users of the platform themselves who decided on the list.
Surely at this point many of you have already gone straight to the list to see them, and exactly, Elden Ring is again crowned overall winner of 2022. Considered the best game of the year by Steam users, it’s no wonder it trumped all the others, since it’s unquestionably amazing in all its design. An essential that, if you haven’t already done so, you should take advantage of.

What do you think of that? Were you able to vote on Steam? Not a bad list of course, although I’m sure it could have been at least a bit more varied, given the usual trends on Steam.
