Steam is now the store par excellence for any PC gamer. It’s true that the Epic Games Store is nibbling away a lot of ground thanks to its policy of relentless game distribution, but it is still far from being a tough competition for Vale’s business. For its part, the Microsoft Store continues to be the stupid student in the classroom, and survive with Xbox Game Pass.
However, I have to admit that if there is something that is running out of steam, it’s the aggressive offers that Valve rewarded us with years ago. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some great discounts out there, but they are no longer the leaders as they were back then and you are currently finding similar or better prices with their competition.
