Ascend to a new mental level in the 2D puzzle platformer Quadroids starting February 22nd
Publishers Fabloo Games and Maximum Entertainment are pleased to announce that puzzle platformer Quadroids is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 22nd.
Quadroids comes from solo developer Blue Loop Studio and tasks you with assisting the robotic overlord Roboctopus on his path to world domination.
With an army of small bots, the Quadroids, you have to find your way through more than 100 tricky levels – crossing acid pools, outsmarting lasers and avoiding a host of other very deadly obstacles.
One Demo is available on all platformsIn it you can try out the first levels of the game as well as a level from a later part of the game, so that you get a feel for the complexity of the game!
“We can’t wait to unleash Quadroids on the world and see how people get on,” said Guillaume Crouzille, the creator of Quadroids. “We found something truly unique in the platforming genre with multiple characters you control at once and the way you overcome obstacles. There is nothing like Quadroids”.
The Quadroids are replaceable and often the key to success lies in sacrificing them tactically. This is how a dead bot can provide an important platform for the next one.
Mastering all levels requires coordination, skill and the ability to think outside the box. Publishers and developers assume no responsibility for any damage caused by excessive brain knotting.
Characteristics:
- Four screens – Controls the movements of the bots on all four screens at the same time.
- Countless obstacles – Jump over pools of acid, avoid deadly spikes and control the environment.
- Lots of bots – Sacrifice Quadroids to progress, because every corpse can also be a platform…
- A target – More than 100 levels stand between you and the domination of the galaxy that Roboctopus has more than earned.
- Together to success – Play together with up to 4 players and share the screens and responsibility for the cute Quadroids among each other.
- Let the world share in your suffering – Thanks to the Twitch integration, streamers can give their community control over the screens. Viewers can also volunteer to join the ranks of your Quadroids and perhaps be the bot whose sacrifice brings victory.
