I admit that I personally never really liked Dead Rising, but there was something in it… maybe it was that absence I felt after the near-disappearance of franchises like Resident Evil, which in the Xbox 360 era were conspicuously absent until almost the end of that console’s life cycle. And yes, I am a fan of the zombie genre.

However, the first installment of the game had something that managed to attract millions of people and was a success, although perhaps it reached its “peak” with the second, the first was the one that most needed a remaster. That is why it seems that this game has been eagerly adopted by users.

Dead Rising Remaster Passes With Good Ratings

But what does the specialized press think about it? Well, before continuing reading, if you wish, I leave you the link to the review of my colleague Frank, since we are also from the specialized press, even if in this case we are only talking about the Xbox version and PC.

In fact, this is the version we are going to base ourselves on, since it is curious that to date it is the one with the lowest rating. On Xbox and PC, the game has an average score of 78and on Playstation an 84. This is explained by the fact that it is the platform with the highest number of reviews (35 against 9 for Xbox).

Xbox Generation – 90

To conclude, our journey has been enriching, full of emotions and with ups and downs. This remaster is an example that, with care and attention, can make a great work look like a remake. That is why we invite you to try it and discover the infinite possibilities that the game offers us.

Games.CH – 88

If you liked Dead Rising, then you’ll love Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. It’s still just as fun to wipe out hordes of zombies using a stack of CDs, a giant umbrella, or various gardening tools. Compared to the original, “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster” is a much smoother experience.

Xbox Achievements – 80

Capcom has managed to breathe new life into a fantastic game, smoothing out some of the rough edges without compromising the spirit of the original. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the perfect excuse to revisit Willamette Parkview Mall and do some shopping. And in the meantime, enjoy some excessive zombie killing.

Jeuxvideo.com – 75

There’s no such thing as eternal rest when you’re a zombie conceived in Capcom’s labs. As Halloween approaches, the Japanese group brings Frank West out of limbo in a prettier, better quality, but slightly truncated version of Dead Rising (erotic photos).

XboxEra – 73

If you’re a fan of Dead Rising, chances are you’ll enjoy this remaster a lot. If you’ve never played the game and want a fun zombie-killing simulation, this game is still a good option, but you’ll have to overlook some of the game’s flaws and remember that it’s still limited by its design.

Gamereactor UK – 60

Is it fun to have access to the variety of weird costumes and outfits? Sure, but at the same time, it’s still the Dead Rising we’ve all known for years, except with a much brighter coat of paint.
