2K today made a hole in one by announcing that it has entered into a long-term exclusive partnership with Tiger woods, one of the most emblematic and famous figures in the history of golf. In addition, 2K also announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HB Studios Multimedia Ltd., the renowned and successful development studio PGA TOUR® 2K21, as well as The Golf Club franchise. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.. Financial terms of the two agreements were not disclosed.
Tiger Woods’ resume includes 15 Major Professional Championship wins, 82 PGA TOUR wins, 11 time PGA TOUR Player of the Year. In addition to the lowest adjusted average score, and is tied for first place in PGA TOUR history, among many other accolades. He is recognized as one of the greatest golfers of all time and one of the most prolific athletes in the world of sport.

Woods’ association with 2K includes the right to have his name and image appear exclusively in the franchise. PGA TOUR 2Kas well as any other golf game published by 2K under this agreement. Woods will play an active role as CEO and consultant for PGA TOUR 2K, while 2K will also be associated with TGR Foundation de Woods, which provides STEM study programs and college access programs to give needy students the tools they need to navigate their way through school and beyond.
