It feels like we’re back in the prime when cheat codes were the key to a video game … According to a lot of rumors over the past few years the code to unlock the entire Time distributor 2 in the Homefront: The Revolution is now known ! You can access it by accessing the game’s arcade machine, which you come across after about seven hours in campaign mode. So far only two levels were available, now we’re talking about the whole adventure!
The history of this cheat code goes back to the release of Homefront: The Revolution After a chaotic development, Dambuster Studios was responsible for finalizing the programming of this cursed game. Unfortunately, it came out on Xbox One in terrible condition, filled with bugs and frame rate issues of all kinds. A One X optimization made it possible to fix these issues with a much more convincing rendering (and suddenly highly recommended). What you should know is that Dambuster Studios includes former members of Free Radical Design, a UK studio that helped develop Gold eye and at the origin of the series Time distributor.
The original idea was to include everyone Time distributor 2 in the Home frontin the form of an “Easter egg”. Even though the whole game was integrated, there wasn’t enough time to polish all the levels. So the decision was made to make two accessible and keep the others hidden. When creating Time Cleaver 2, There were multiple code cheats available that were included in the source code which made the journey with the rest! Over the years the codes have been lost, but there have been many rumors of their existence … Fortunately, Spencer Perreault, an Xbox engineer, kept the code and posted it on Twitter:
Purpose? All codes are now available and can be activated in-game. This has to do with the fans they have found over the years by listening to various conversations and of course the famous Perreault tweet! To do this, you have to go to the restricted zone and activate the codes on the terminal TS2 through key operations.
Everything in action:
A good reason to postpone Homefront: The Revolution on his console, if only to repeat the excellent Age 2! Especially since it apparently runs in native 4K …
