To break their chains, you must work your way past his deadly mechanized defenses, including terror-powered turrets, blazing furnaces, and bone-crushing hammers. But keep your wits about you lest you become another of his captured souls!
Vesper seems particularly keen that you put Fyodor in his place, although their motives remain obscure – for now, anyway.
Four weeks of boss fights and new loot
Just like the other Mirrors of Mystery, Molten Mirrors gives you the chance to face a more difficult dungeon and farm higher level loot to help you complete the main story. Available as a standalone purchase or via the Season Pass (sold separately and as part of the Chaotic Great Edition), Molten Mirrors introduces a high-security prison gauntlet to put your skills to the test.
Vesper and her mysterious mirrors are located in the Dreamveil Overlook, just outside of Brighthoof in the Overworld. The enemies in it have a base level of 13 and beyond that they scale to your Destiny Maker’s level. Whether you’re just beginning your Destinymaker’s quest or have forged yourself in the flames of the most difficult Mayhem levels, Mirrors of Mystery is a fast-paced, repeatable challenge. But be warned, dying in a Mirror of Mystery will knock you out of the mirror again and you’ll have to start your run all over again.
For three consecutive weeks after the release of Molten Mirrors, Fyodor will be tinkering with his armored throne to ensure that this time your mortal soul belongs to him. Fyodor’s Lair is a veritable storm of deadly projectiles and vicious machines, and it’ll take fancy footwork and sharp reflexes to get through unscathed.
With each progressively tougher iteration of this fight, new legendary gear will be added to the loot table, giving you good reason to come back for some rematches. More legendary loot will also be added as a possible reward from Vesper’s Wheel of Destiny after defeating Fyodor at least once. These new items join the wide range of fresh cosmetic items you can collect – whether it’s as random drops from enemies in the Mirrors of Mystery or as you spin the Wheel of Destiny with the Lost Souls you’ve collected.
Below is a projected timeline of when the Fyodor boss fight will take on new, deadlier forms, along with the planned loot additions for each difficulty (dates, timing, and items are subject to change). You must beat each form in turn even if you play Molten Mirrors after the following dates have passed. Vesper will reveal unique glimpses into Fyodor’s state of mind with each difficulty level. Beat all four to hear the full story, and shed additional light on some of Vesper’s own mysteries…
- First Form: June 23 at 9:30 am PT
- New Legendary Pledge of Allegiance ring
- After defeating Fyodor for the first time, new legendary loot will be added to the Wheel of Destiny: Stab-O-Matic weapon, Lovestruck Beau spell, Greed Warden and Petty Tantrum melee weapons, and Protagonizer Amulet

Successfully completing Molten Mirrors at least once will add four unique level layouts and the Fyodor boss fight to the Chaos Chamber opportunity pool for even more endgame dungeon variety. Combined with the ongoing limited-time mini-events and weekly featured runs that are constantly being expanded Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, there’s a lot to gain by beating Fyodor’s new forms every week.
