We all know that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will show the intrepid archaeologist at resemblance to a young Harrison Fordas we knew him in the cinema, but the voice will not be that of the famous actor, but will be provided by Troy Baker, an old acquaintance of the video game industry.
In an interview With Rolling Stone magazine, Bethesda Games Studios executive producer Todd Howard and Baker himself spoke about the casting process to see who would be the voice of Indiana Jones.
The difficult job of being Indiana Jones
Howard said that during an initial Zoom interview, he made it clear to Baker that I didn’t want him in the role given the time period in which the game took place, a decision that ended up being reversed after blind tests were done with different groups and people chose Baker’s voice over all the others selected.
