Development is progressing well, but we don’t have a release date yet.
The development of a video game is based on 4 main steps:
- The conceptual phase
- The pre-production phase
- The manufacturing phase
- The improvement phase
It is known that the next installment of the car simulation license Forza Motorsport is already in the third phase
“In production, you put your head down and build. We build together as a team and the goal is to stay on schedule, to have great energy, great clarity. We become one and build as a team. Then the last stage, which we will enter next year, is the improvement stage. And the improvements are very significant. If you have a huge game like Forza Motorsport and a bunch of new systems that you’ve reworked, there’s plenty of room for improvement. And that takes a long time. »
If we apply that to the title’s timeline and its slated release in the spring of 2023, it’s unlikely we’ll see Forza Motorsport return early next year. Who knows, maybe Turn10 Studios will prove us wrong.
