Turtle Beach’s first controller for mobile gaming is available now, the Recon Cloud.
Gaming accessories maker Turtle Beach today announced the global availability of its Recon Cloud Hybrid Controller. The Designed for Xbox controller is designed for mobile gaming and has a battery life of more than 30 hours and a Play & Charge feature for all-day gaming.
The Recon Cloud is compatible with mobile devices equipped with Android 8.0 or higher and connects via Bluetooth 5.0. In this way, players can also use it with a compatible Windows PC. Alternatively, the controller can be connected to a PC, Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One using the USB cable supplied. In this case, a number of exclusive Turtle Beach audio features such as Superhuman Hearing, custom audio presets and more are also available.
“Reactions from players and critics to our Recon and REACT-R controllers have undoubtedly been positive. With the Cloud Controller, Xbox and mobile gamers get the same Turtle Beach control capabilities for both worlds,” said Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO of Turtle Beach Corporation. “The Recon Cloud is the first mobile gaming controller we are releasing this year. Other products for iOS and other platforms will follow soon.”
Thanks to the ergonomic shape and the cooling grips, players can play longer in full comfort. With the adjustable cell phone clip, all compatible Android phones can be securely attached over the controller. When the clip is detached, it can be used as a stand.
The Recon Cloud Hybrid Controller is available now in Blue Magma or Black at www.turtlebeach.com and participating retailers worldwide for an MSRP of $99.99.
