The famous Battle Turtles investigate a new threat lurking beneath New York City in TMNT: Mutants Unleashed.
Publisher Outright Games is publishing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants Unleashed in collaboration with Paramount Game Studios.
Developed by A Heartful of Games, the 3D Beat ‘Em Up platformer is available now for PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
The game is set in the aftermath of the 2023 Paramount Pictures film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. You take on the role of four brothers to unravel the mystery behind a new type of threat looming in New York City is up to mischief.
Compete against 10 brand new mutants, known as “Mewbies,” each with 5 different mutation forms that increase the challenge. Harness the Turtles’ unique weapons and fighting styles, from Mikey’s melee attacks to Donnie’s bō staff-wielding skills, for high-octane gameplay.
The voice actors of the eponymous brothers also return: Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Brady Noon (Raphael), Micah Abbey (Donatello) and Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo) reprise their roles from the film.
In addition to the iconic Turtles, fans can also look forward to the return of other characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem.

The game features numerous interactive locations that immerse fans in the world of the Turtles and provide a distinct New York feel. Train in the Turtles’ Sewer Lair, directly inspired by the film, or visit new “meeting points” such as the Coexisting Center, the Haunted Arcade and an abandoned cinema – all of which change with the game’s dynamic day and night cycle.
While exploring the game’s expansive map, players can complete main missions and NPC side quests, experience adrenaline-pumping boss fights, accept pizza deliveries, and discover hidden graffiti secrets throughout the city while investigating the origins of the pesky Mewbies.
By completing quests that advance the story, players can unlock new abilities by earning experience points and leveling up Ally Bonds through engaging and infectiously humorous dialogue.
To add to the chaos, players can even team up with a buddy in up to 2-player couch co-op mode to restore peace to New York City and help the Turtles achieve their dream of attending a normal high school to realize.
Featuring new characters authentically designed by the film’s lead character designer, Woodrow White, fans can enjoy the faithful recreation of the film’s distinctive and colorful art style, with a variety of dynamic 2D and 3D cutscenes, complete with voice recordings are provided.
With unlockable skins based on the original black and white cartoon Turtles and a unique twist on the 80s cartoon Turtles, fans of all eras can enjoy this new game version of the incredible Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
