It’s been a while since I wrote a tutorial. It’s true that most of our readers are already accustomed to using the console and everything it hides, but new buyers may not have it so easy. And since we want to make it easier for everyone, here’s a simple tutorial so you can sync your controller to Xbox One and Xbox Series.
This text is divided into two parts, since There are two different ways to sync your console controller. The first of these is natural and standard synchronization, while the other involves assigning an Xbox Live account to the controller in question so that every time you turn it on it connects with it.
Sync your Xbox controller
- On your console, press a small button near the machine’s power supply.
- After that, almost simultaneously, press the small button represented by a sign similar to this: ‘)))’ and that it is near the part where you plug the USB in to charge it.
Sync your Xbox controller with PC (Windows 11)
- Go to settings.
- Turn on Bluetooth and devices.
- Add a device.
- Choose the “Other” option and find your controller.
- Once the pairing request is accepted, the controller will be synced for all your games.
Link an Xbox Live account to your controller.
For this second part, nothing better than the official Xbox guide to take the relevant steps.
- Press the guide button (central button that lights up).
- Select Settings.
- Select “All Settings”.
- Choose the desired controller. The current account assigned to this order is indicated.
- To assign the controller to another account, select the account currently assigned to the controller.
- Select “Assign to someone”.
- Select the account you want to assign to the controller.
As you can see, it’s quite simple to do, and saves a lot of headaches. Also, there are always those who are jealous of others using their Xbox controller, you know everyone’s quirks.
