Ubisoft is developing a new Prince of Persia inspired by the Ori

One of the earliest memories I have as a gamer is the first Prince of Persia. I have to admit that when Ubisoft rescued the game from oblivion and released the fantastic Sands of Time, I was thrilled with what was a great video game.

Unfortunately, this magnificent Ubisoft license has been forgotten for several years, although it seems that it will not remain so for too long. At the remake of The Sands of Time, which we already know is in development, it could be added another additional title with quite a different style.

A new Ori-style Prince of Persia is reportedly in development

This information comes from Tom Henderson, which you already know that when he speaks, it is because he has first-hand information. According to him, Ubisoft is preparing its own event where it will show a large number of games, and one of them would be this new Prince of Persia. This would move away from the style of the last games that the saga received to bet on a style closer to the Ori, with a perspective in what is called 2.5 D. The title would be developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, although with the support of other Ubisoft studios.

We can only wait to see if this and other new games from the company will be revealed at this rumored event.

Ubisoft would develop a new Prince of Persia inspired by the Ori - It seems that Ubisoft has a lot of games "in the oven"among which would be a new Prince of Persia in 2.5 D.
