Gamers have long been excited about the announcement of the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. For many it was a game worthy of all the praise in the world and after knowing that we were going to be able to enjoy this title on the next generation consoles, it was an incredible feeling. It’s true that the trip was a real roller coaster, we even thought that the project was going to be cancelled.

However, it seems to be far away, Ubisoft has confirmed that the remake of this episode is alive and well

and therefore it seems that we will soon be able to enjoy this game. However, there is a downside, we will not be able to see anything during the Ubisoft Forward in June, but at least we know that there is not intend to throw the project, so we can rest easy.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is not canceled

It was producer Jean-François Naud who gave us this information through the official site. His words are, in a way… reassuring. talk about what have heard it all feedback people and they try to apply it to the game, so we hope the delivery is really worth it. It looks like the team is pulling itself together with this remake, no wonder, since we’re a lot of fans of the episode.

In terms of development, the game is in the design phase. Since we took over the project, we’ve been analyzing community feedback to find a good way to find the game. We’re now building the team, setting priorities, testing things, and looking at how we can incorporate feedback from the community. in-game community.

As we told you, we will not be able to see this new Prince of Persia in Ubisoft Forward, but it seems to go further. Jean himself took it upon himself to tell us that gamers shouldn’t expect to hear more about the game this year

, so we will have to be patient. And more when you know that there are no plans to follow this path with other games in the franchise.

It’s still in its early stages, players shouldn’t expect to receive more information about the game this year. But you can rest assured that we are putting all our effort and heart into this project.

As you can see, this communication about the new game has solved many of our doubts. It seems that we will have to wait even longer for new news, but above all, to see the game; However we are happy because the project continues. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time seems to have a clear destination, and we’ll be there.
