Ubisoft has announced that the Ubisoft+ subscription model is evolving and revealed what you can expect.
Parallel to the early access launch of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (test) for Ubisoft+ subscribers, Ubisoft is renaming its subscription plans.
“Ubisoft+ Multi-Access” and “PC Access” now become “Ubisoft+ Premium” and offer premium editions, monthly rewards and more, as well as day one releases and early access where applicable, as was the case with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
Ubisoft is also introducing a new offering: Ubisoft+ Classics on PC, a curated selection of popular games from the back catalog and live games.
Philippe Tremblay commented on the differences: “Premium means you have access to new releases from day one and in some cases, like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, early access to upcoming releases.”
“Add to this is our extensive back catalog where you have access to premium editions, DLC and monthly rewards. All of this is offered on Xbox, PC and Amazon Luna, and you only need to subscribe once to have access to these games on all of these platforms.”
“Players can subscribe to Ubisoft+ Premium for a monthly fee of $17.99.”
“Alternatively, players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ Classics, a curated selection of our most popular games from the legacy catalog, such as Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs: Legion. This catalog will grow over time, is included for PlayStation+ Extra and PlayStation+ Premium members, and is now also available on PC in the Ubisoft Store for $7.99 per month.”
