The critically acclaimed surrealism adventure DARQ comes as a physical “Ultimate Edition” with additional content for fans.
Feardemic, Unfold Games and PLAION are pleased to announce the release of the critically acclaimed DARQ: Ultimate Edition. This edition is an exclusive physical edition and is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to the two DLCs (The Crypt & The Tower), the Ultimate Edition includes a 16-page art book and 9 stickers for players to show their love for DARQ. This edition also includes digital versions of the OST, as well as the graphic novel DARQ Dream Journal, which sheds light on the true meaning of Lloyd’s escapades in the world of nightmares.
About DARQ:
DARQ is a 2.5D side scroller that tells the story of Lloyd, a boy who realizes he is dreaming. His dream quickly turns into a nightmare from which he cannot escape. As he explores the darkest corners of his subconscious, Lloyd learns how to survive the nightmare by manipulating the laws of physics to his advantage, embracing the flowing fabric of his dream world.
Lloyd must not only solve gravity-defying puzzles, but also use his cunning to overcome opponents. He has no chance of winning a direct attack as the creatures of his dream are stronger and faster than Lloyd himself, so he must rely on careful planning to avoid detection.
