Horror game finally comes to consoles
Duality Games and the publisher HOOK They announced the release date of their horror game Impious. It was already launched 1 year ago on PC for the Steam store, but it will finally arrive on consoles in September.
Open the doors between your everyday reality and a dark and profane world to uncover the mystery of your son’s disappearance. Explore both worlds to find clues, solve puzzles, decide whether to infiltrate or fight brutal enemies, and confront an aberrant system.
This is how the studio describes Unholy, a rather striking horror game that is finally coming to consoles and which will have the following characteristics according to its creators.
- Two parallel worlds to explore. The cold, gray reality of a brutalist post-Soviet city in Eastern Europe and the frightening, twisted world of Unholy, a grotesque society ruled by a caste of ruthless priests.
- A haunting horror experience driven by intense storytelling with captivating visuals based on the works of renowned dark artist Tomasz Strzalkowski (Art Director and Founder of Duality Games).
- A unique combination of gameplay that combines meticulous exploration, intriguing puzzle solving, infiltration and stealth with innovative shooter dynamics.
- A unique and versatile weapon. Use four different emotions: anger, fear, sadness and the desire to interact with the environment (destroy obstacles, activate mechanisms, overload circuits, light your way) or to confuse, attract or harm your opponents.
- Masks! Everyone in the unholy world hides behind a mask and it can mean the difference between life and death. Create your own skin to gain new abilities and enhance your skills or use other skins to infiltrate, confuse your enemies and impersonate your opponents.
Unholy will arrive on September 13 on Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5, in addition to already being available on PC. We leave you here the trailer of its announcement.
