In World of Warships: Legends, Update 3.8 adds British aircraft carriers and new Warhammer 40,000 content to the game.
World of Warships: Legends is bringing tons of new content to the game with the November update. These include the source of wisdom campaign, a new branch of research with British aircraft carriers, Soviet cruisers leaving Early Access, a collaboration with Warhammer 40,000 and many other innovations.
Campaign source of wisdom
The new campaign runs for six weeks and includes 120 milestones, divided into two updates. With Quelle der Weisheit there are two new ships up for grabs for the captains, the French Tier IV destroyer Siroco, which has effective HE ammunition, and the German Tier VII cruiser Mainz, which is equipped with powerful guns and improved sonar. Siroco is available from milestone 40 and Mainz from milestone 120. The players do not have to choose one of the two ships, but can unlock both ships with active admiralty support after the campaign is over.
The Royal Navy grow wings
One of the most influential naval forces of World War II is launched: the British aircraft carriers. The new tech tree has three ships, Tier III Hermes, Tier V Furious, and Tier VII Implacable. With their special “area bombing” and numerous torpedoes, they heat up their opponents properly and make the sea simmer. With the aircraft carriers, Denis Boyd is also a new captain.
The Eternal Crusade meets Waaagh!
Part Two of the collaboration with Warhammer 40,000 lifts anchor in World of Warships: Legends and brings two new ships into play. The Cross of Dorn of the Black Templar and Ship Smasha of the Orks with dedicated captains set sail and bring thematic camouflages, flags and patches, as well as special containers.
Alternative Soviet cruisers for everyone
The Tier IV Kotovsky, Tier V Gorky, and Tier VI Tallinn Soviet cruisers are now available to all players after the tech tree exits Early Access. These ships have flat ballistics, sonar and respectable torpedoes, which make them good all-rounders at every level. Last but not least, the Riga is available on Tier VII, which has impressive 220mm guns.
For all captains who love competitive play, there will be three seasons of Ranked Battles. Battles will be fought in Tier V, VI and VII ships (depending on the season), have a destroyer limit, and no aircraft carriers will be permitted.
Update 3.8 for World of Warships: Legends will be released on Monday, November 8th, 2021.
