Royal Liverpool Golf Club is now playable in all modes in EA SPORTS PGA TOUR.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR welcomes the 151st The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Season 4 with Title Update 5.0. Royal Liverpool Golf Club is now available in all game modes. In career mode, The Open Championship now alternates between Royal Liverpool and St Andrews each season. Menus, screens and design have been updated to match the Season 4 Open Championship theme.
New challenges based on key moments from the event will also be released after The Open Championship.
In addition to these seasonal improvements, the update includes numerous usability and stability improvements. This includes updates to Career and Online modes, giving players the flexibility to customize their gaming experience. For example, the Career Mode updates allow players to switch between fast and full rounds at the start of each round (rather than just at the start of the tournament).
Online matchmaking has been updated to allow additional gamers to join a lobby for 60 seconds after completing it. These changes make it easier to fill matches with endgames and increase the frequency of 16 endgames.
In addition, the online mode will be updated to include new playlists in the rotation instead of always just offering Random, 9 Holes or Tour. These playlists have their own themes and a smaller selection of random courses where changing course conditions and wind settings add extra variety.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR is constantly evolving based on feedback from the passionate community, and the teams at EA Orlando and EA Madrid are working behind the scenes on more updates like single-round tournaments for career mode and turn-based play for private and online modes. Both features will be implemented with the next major patch. We will provide more information in advance of publication.
