The Paradox Interactive title comes out of the shadows and distributors promise new features for September.
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 was announced in 2019, surprising many at the mere idea that someone had approved the sequel to an already classic title, albeit more cult than popular. From that date, the project was plagued with delays and inconveniences until Paradox Interactive confirmed in 2021 that development would return to zero and I would even change the responsible study.
That was all we knew about the game for a while now, but everything seems to indicate that we will soon have some good news regarding the title.
start from scratch
The official site of the game posted a note confirming some development progress and promising to show off the title in September of this year. In turn, in a truly commendable gesture, Paradox has indicated that due to the time that has passed since pre-purchases opened to date, the company is willing to refund those who no longer wish to obtain a physical copy or digital version of the game. Indeed, physical copies will be automatically refunded, even the most expensive editions.
To further sweeten the news, the website shows some screenshots of what Vampires: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be, although always it is not known who will be in charge of development.
