According to a report, various titles rely on the support of the soon-to-be-released FidelityFX Super Resolution from AMD.
AMD plans to release its new FidelityFX Super Resolution (or FSR for short) supersampling technology on June 22nd this year.
A new report from VideoCardz, referring to its own unconfirmed sources, now includes potential details about which games will support supersampling technology at launch, which games will soon add support, and which developers are currently working with FidelityFX Super Resolution.
According to the report, The Riftbreaker, Anno 1800, Terminator Resistance, 22 Racing Series, Evil Genius 2, KingShunt and Godfall will rely on the technology right at the start of the FSR.
For the future, the titles Far Cry 6, Resident Evil Village, Baldur’s Gate 3, DOTA 2, Farming Simulator 22, Forspoken, Swordsman Remake, Necromunda: Hired Gun, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, Asterigos, Edge of Eternity, and Plan Myst with FSR support.
The report also states that a total of 44 developers and publishers are currently working with AMD technology. Including some big names in the video game industry such as Bloober Team, Crystal Dynamics, Focus Home Interactive, Rebellion, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Gearbox, Larian Studios, Obsidian Entertainment, Valve, Turtle Rock Studios, Koch Media, Avalanche Software, Ubisoft, WB-Games and many more.
Microsoft, too, recently expressed its enthusiasm for the potential of the FidelityFX Super Resolution and announced that it will soon announce further details on supporting the technology for Xbox Series X | S.
