We knew that to create a new slinging adventure, John Cooper, who owned a knife, nearly twenty years after his first venture, meant we needed a new take on the Desperados Franchise. The team at Mimi Games Games reflected on the experience by creating computer-based games, real-time gameplay and the desire to elevate the genre while taking the unique opportunity of the rich, western, world of Desperados.

Desperados III experience driven by the story and from that perspective, Desperados III it's a clone.
