The upcoming sci-fi action game from 110 Industries and Soleil, Wanted: Dead, will be released in Q4 2022 on Playstation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC with stylish John Wick-esque violence and a twisted look into a dark retro cyberpunk future.
In the expanded version of the new story trailer that debuted at IGN Summer of Gaming, players can gain new insights into a world of seedy corporate intrigue while also seeing more of the brutal violence they face when taking on the challenging fight.
Wanted: Dead is a third-person action game that seamlessly blends sword and gun combat. Developed by the creators of Ninja Gaiden, players should expect the hardcore DNA of the series to shine through, with intelligent enemies that will push you to master the game’s systems.
Wanted: Dead forces players to learn how to make the most of combos, parries, and the other tools at their disposal to complete the inevitable ass kicksthat the game deals out to survive. The rewards are aesthetically pleasing fights filled with blood and violence, and the sense of satisfaction that comes from becoming a flawless fighting machine.
Story: Lt. Hannah Stone, held captive as one of the underdogs in a global war, is given one last chance to escape her captivity by taking charge of an elite team operating outside the purview of traditional police forces known as the Zombie Squad is.
As Hannah, players are immersed in a retro-cyberpunk vision of Hong Kong, where synthetic workers and advanced weaponry coexist with VHS tapes and cars that look straight out of the ’90s.
Wanted: Dead is dominated by one company: Dauer Synthetics. Lt. Stone and her team soon find themselves caught up in the shady dealings and underhand politics surrounding the corporation that controls the world. Who is the mysterious mercenary group attacking them? What do you want? And how will the world react when Dauer Synthetics leaves a power vacuum that no one could have foreseen.
