The new Alpha Jet is coming to War Thunder! The new update brings the most modern Chinese armored personnel carrier and dozens of other military vehicles.
Gaijin Entertainment introduces the major content update “Alpha Strike” for the online vehicle combat game War Thunder.
It features dozens of new military vehicles, including the European Apha Jet fighter-bomber, the M60 120S “Frankenstein” tank, the most advanced Chinese ZBD-04A infantry fighting vehicle, the American F-20A Tigershark jet, the Hungarian Air Force research branch, as well as the North Holland map and other content and improvements.
The Alpha Jet is a compact two-seat fighter-bomber and training jet developed by European designers in the 1970s for national air forces.
It has been exported to a few dozen countries, is still in use in France and is actively used by the Nigerian Air Force ag ainst Boko Haram. Two SNECMA Turbomeca Larzac engines accelerate the aircraft to speeds of over 1000 km/h, and a ballistic computer enables precise strikes with unguided rockets and bombs.
The M60 120S tank is a prototype that combines the Abrams’ turret with the M60’s hull. It is a mix of past and present: the outdated homogeneous hull armor is combined here with composite materials and advanced turret electronics as well as a powerful modern 120 mm cannon and a heavy machine gun that can take on any opponent.
The Chinese BMP ZBD-04A has a combat module with a 100 mm gun and a coaxial 30 mm autocannon. The latter has very effective APFSDS ammunition, and the commander and gunner have received modern thermal imaging devices that help them detect the enemy at dusk and in bad weather.
