For the greater good: The new playable faction, the T’au, joins the fight in Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector.
The T’au are the latest faction to enter the battlefield in the popular turn-based strategy title Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector from Slitherine and Black Lab Games.
The technologically advanced faction has arrived to spread greater good across the galaxy with 14 new units playable in the game’s dynamic campaigns, skirmishes and multiplayer.
The T’au specialize in long-range weaponry and have a diverse range of unit types that utilize their technological prowess to gain the upper hand. The XV88 Broadside Battlesuit can use its high-tech sensors to find enemy weak points that can be easily exploited.
The XV25 Stealth Battlesuits can seamlessly blend into their surroundings to eliminate the enemy, and the fearsome XV8 Crisis Battlesuit Team has access to a variety of devastating weapons.
Each of these units has distinctive, finely crafted models and unique special abilities. Additionally, players can access brand new HQ abilities that benefit the entire facti on. These include Seeker Missile Strike, Manta Strike and Orbital Ion Beam.
At the same time as the release of the T’au DLC, the new one will also be released free map editor published. Using an easy-to-use in-game tool, players can create their own maps and share them with the world via a cross-platform upload system.
All player-created maps can be used in skirmishes, multiplayer, and Planetary Supremacy’s dynamic campaign. The map editor is now available for PC, while the creations can be downloaded on all platforms.
