There is news about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess – both in terms of content in the form of various updates and also with new behind the scenes videos.
Starting today, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Capcom’s latest cross-genre IP released on July 19th, features three new gameplay and digital content updates, including:
- All-new quality of life features that improve and expand every playthrough
- Official release of the game’s haunting original soundtrack
- Insights into the creation of the game with two new contributions to the behind-the-scenes video series
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available now along with a free demo on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam.
New gameplay improvements
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess improves and expands gameplay with 15 new features and improvements added to the game across all platforms, including:
- Villagers can now be upgraded multiple levels at once
- The variety of cats and dogs in the bases has been increased
- Okami music tracks have been added
- Added option to change Yoshiro’s pose in photo mode
- And much more!

The highly anticipated Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Original Soundtrack is now available on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music. The album contains 53 unique Japanese-style songs, many composed by popular Japanese composer Chikara Aoshima and arranged by renowned arrangers.
Each song immerses players deeper into the eerie universe of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess through the use of an analog audio processing method and Dynamic Processing System technology.
Prepare for a unique insight into the practical development of the characters and music of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess with two new behind the scenes mini-documentaries on YouTube (“Characters”, “Music”).
The “Characters” video takes us straight into the development studio to see how the in-game costumes and unique moves of the opposing Damned were created in reality, and how the traditional Japanese dance of the purifying Kagura was captured through motion capture.
