Both games met the company's expectations in terms of sales. Although exact numbers are not provided, the success of the Back 4 Blood beta, which managed to gather 5.4 million players and became the largest in Warner Bros. history.suggests that the final version of the shooter was a success as well, though it doesn't seem to have held up the same way over the months.
The commercial success of Gotham Knights and Back 4 Blood
Gamez was also involved in the marketing strategy for Gotham Knights and expected Gotham Knights and Back 4 Blood to rank among the top 20 selling games of the year by revenue, hitting Warner Bros. targets. Despite the launch issues, it looks like the open-world superhero game has been satisfying for the publisher in commercial terms.
