We already have a date for Developer_Direct, an Xbox event where they will show news from Bethesda, Arkane and more

We’ve been following the trail of this mini-event, which has been leaking around the net for some time. Microsoft had to show something at the beginning of the year. His 2022 has been improvable, and they skipped the Game Awards, so fans of the brand had and still want to know what’s next. A short and concise event can be a good appetizer before E3 2023, which will be where all the meat grilled by the American company will be seen.

Since Windows Central They divulged everything we needed to know about the event in question. This is not official confirmed information, but one can almost validate it from the source it comes from. So mark this date on your calendar: January 25th. Of course, if Microsoft confirms or denies this information, we will update this post as soon as possible.

Developer_Direct: in the footsteps of Inside Xbox

I always said the Inside Xbox was a tostón, but in the absence of good bread, it was cakes. And those in Redmond canceled those events through the back door, without telling anyone. It looks like this new event will be called Developer_Direct and will recover some of the essence of the Inside Xbox by giving importance not only to the games, but to the creators of them. While it’s true that this event should come with a different pacing to make it more enjoyable, there’s speculation that the company will advertise much more aggressively this year.

According to reports, we can expect “deep dives into Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and content from ZeniMax Online Studios.” It looks like there won’t be any news from Starfield either, and we can say goodbye to a few details about the unannounced minor game from Tango Gamework. Anyway, it’s too early to hear about Fable and Avowed, it seems that for these we have to wait for E3. However, it’s good that they give us details on the closest games and if they will see the light of day this year.

From what we understand, this won’t be a full-fledged E3-scale show, but it will be a more intimate look at some upcoming exclusives. As such, we’ve heard that Starfield might even skip that timeline for bigger marketing later.
