Dragon’s Dogma 2, is probably one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Strong candidate for GOTY, it will reach us in just a few days. Capcom’s new adventure presents us with a huge world filled with gigantic creatures that we will have to face. In order to combat so many dangers, they give us the choice of our fighting style from a wide range of classes. Within this group we can distinguish two types. On one side we have the purest or classic courses and in a second block a series of hybrid courses.
In classic classes we find the following:
- Fighter: class specialized in melee. She is armed with the classic shield and one-handed sword, focusing on physical combat and being the tank of the group. Having high defense, vitality and moderate damage.
- Guerrero– Evolution of the fighter, equipped with a great sword and focused on massive melee damage. He has weaker defense and focuses on much more aggressive fights.
- Dry– Support-focused class, with different magic spells to buff and heal allies, as well as an assortment of magic attacks for enemies. A very complete course that will allow us to experience magic in all its potential.
- Magician– Mage morph, focused solely on massive magic damage, like summoning a mega tornado or meteor shower. This means we will lose the ability to cast healing and enhancement spells.
- Goalie: agile class, focused on ranged attack and powerful close-range kicks.
- Thief: The most agile class in melee combat. Equipped with daggers, he can make himself invisible to enemies and devastate them with powerful and rapid blows on weak points.
Hybrid courses
- Magic archer: A mix of archer and mage, he can use powerful magical arrows to eliminate enemies and aid his allies, such as by throwing an arrow that heals and even revives them.
- Mystical Duelist: A mix of warrior and sorcerer, he uses a double spear and magic to attack his enemies both in melee and with magic. One of the most popular classes in this suite.
- Illusionist: Using a censer (botafumeiro for friends), this class does no damage but can instead distract enemies with illusions, make them attack each other and empower allies.
- Champion: surely one of the most interesting courses presented so far. The Champion is a hybrid class through and through. Players who want to use this class will be able to use all weapons and skills in the game. Of course, their stats will be lower than the rest of the classes, so you will have to play with great caution.
From there, we look forward to being at the helm of Dragon’s Dogma 2. If the hype gets to you, we remind you that you have our first impressions right here.
