It was in 2017, more precisely on October 3, when the last installment of the Forza saga saw the light of day. We are talking about four years since the launch of Forza Motorsport 7 and I dare say that all its followers are eager to hear about the new installment in the Turn 10 saga.
Those most loyal to this series of video games will know that in July 2020, over a year ago, they presented us with a trailer for the new opus which will presumably cease to be numbered and is known as Forza Motorsport – which will be available on GamePass from the day you leave -. Our hope is that in the TGAs which will be broadcast on Thursday, December 9, they have the surprise of Turn 10 and Forza in store for us.
Some novelties and a mirror to look at yourself
So far, a year after the trailer for this new installment from Forza Motorsport, we haven’t heard anything more about it, except for a few details that have come straight from Round 10. What we were clear on was that this new game will likely be a big generational leap. One of the advantages of Forza Motorsport 7 is its wide variety of vehicles, and that is that the game has over 700 cars at your disposal. Each of them is totally different in competition.
The developers at Forza have let us know that they will try to improve the online mode with a new feature called “Race Weekend”, which will include free practice, qualifying and a race. We will see how they manage to adapt it with the ranking of the players in order to avoid the dirtiest and the most “aggressive” ones on the court. Another novelty is that in practice mode, you will have what they call “mastery of turns”, which would be something like “mastery of turns”. This option will be available in free practice mode and it will show you the exact point on the circuit where you lose or gain time in order to improve your driving.
On top of that, it looks like we’ll finally have different tire compounds to use various strategies in the race, which was about time after so many deliveries. Almost as necessary as this compound implementation are the animations in boxes, which also seems to happen in this new opus from Forza Motorsport.
What do you think, can we take advantage of something new in these TGAs? Keep in mind that if all goes well, this new Forza will be released in late 2022. In the meantime, we’ll continue with Forza Motorsport 7 while we want to speed up and go straight to the new installment of Turn 10.
