Adventure, CoOp, exciting, puzzle

How good are you at solving puzzles? And how good are you at keeping cool while solving puzzles… together… with a partner? Find out We were here foreverthe upcoming game in our We were here Series of co-op puzzle adventures set in and around the haunted Castle Rock in Antarctica.

You and a partner take on the role of explorers who somehow got caught in the mystery of the castle. As with previous games in the series, We were here forever is all about cooperative two-player exploration and puzzle-solving. Since the first game, collaboration has been our key design value: you must work together to escape. Few puzzles can be solved alone, and players often need to share information over the walkie-talkies to advance. Talking is what will save you.

We were here centers around a mysterious keep in the realms of Castle Rock. As an explorer in frozen Antarctica, you come across this mysterious place, find out about the legend of the king and before you know it you get trapped inside its walls where you have to solve puzzles and find out many secrets to have a chance escape. To the We were here forever We’ve surpassed everything we’ve done before, packing each area with details that really bring each location to life, and for the first time, players will have to make some choices about where to explore and in what order!

The game begins in a dungeon carved beneath the castle, but players will soon find themselves exploring more distant locations if they can find a way out of the castle. The settlement of Rockbury used to be a pleasant Dutch town, but a terrible curse turned it into a shadow of its former self. Exploring once-joyful locations like the Doll Workshop and Chapel might be daunting, but stay strong together and you’ll gain valuable knowledge that could help you escape. You can learn more about Rockbury and Castle Rock before exploring We were here forever by watching our live-action video series: ‘We were here Stories: Chronicles of Castle Rock’. The first of six episodes is already available, the second will follow very soon! New episodes are released every two weeks.

You start the game locked and separated in the dungeon of the fortress – you won’t see your partner right away, but it won’t be too long before you can meet up. Varying the experience between side-by-side co-op and separate co-op worked really well We were here togetherand we knew we had to bring it back Forever. Of course, you’ll be separated from time to time during your adventure, so it’s important to get used to maintaining regular communication. Let your partner know what you see, think and feel. You’ll need to combine your knowledge to solve puzzles, and something that seems like nonsense to you could be the missing piece of the puzzle for your partner.

Every game in We were here Series is stand alone but if you are a story fan we would recommend playing Forever after completing the other. There are some big reveals ahead – not to mention a chance for an audience with the King of Castle Rock. But as our longtime fans will realise, nothing will go exactly as planned as there is always that other force interfering with your plans… The Fool.
