Welcome to a brand new chapter of Fourteen days! With the island flipping a whole new one was discovered! New places to explore, new weapons to wield, new people to meet, and more in Chapter 3 – Season 1: Flip!
It goes without saying that it can be confusing to be turned around, so hopefully that Chapter 3 – Orientation in Season 1 will help you get a feel for things on the new island!
News spots to explore
A new winter wonderland is emerging. The western half of the island is a frosty biome where you can find places like the suburb Greasy grove and industrial Logjam lumber yard.
More of a warm weather inhabitant? Well there is a perfect place for you. Go to the southern desert and enjoy the cozy living in the Condo Canyon, “Come down” to the freshly returned Butter barn, test your off-road skills at Chonkers Speedway, and more.
This island is home to many outposts dedicated to longtime residents: the legendary group The Seven. Your primary residence that Refuge, can be found in the tropics. There you also get a nice view of the towering statue of the leader of the seven, The Foundation. A building in the area comparable in size to the statue is none other than that Daily bugle covered on the web … I wonder who could have done this?
New island, new items
A hefty new range of weapons is waiting to be deployed. Here’s a quick rundown of what to look out for! Try to find that Ranger assault rifle
If you’re more of a melee fighter, check out the new shotguns! The Striker Shotgun shoots a lot of bullets and boats with high explosive damage, and while the Automatic shotgun is not as effective as the Striker per shot, has a faster rate of fire, and reloads two grenades at the same time.
There are many more new weapons to look forward to, like the Wild SMG stinger, faithful Sidearm pistol, and the tough one Hunter bolt action sniper.
Turning the island around may have created too much chaos, but it’s also too scenic to miss the opportunity to sit back and camp! Go out and find it all new time Object, throw it down to assemble, then rest in it to heal. You can also safely store up to three items in your tent for use in future games. Two item slots will automatically be available in the tent, and a third can be rented with bars.
A crowning achievement!
If you’re placed high enough in a match, you’ll get one Victory crown. You start your next game with a crown. A great honor, but it also means that you stand out from other players looking for their own crown of victory. If you can keep your crown, you will be rewarded with bonus XP as you play. If you’re skillful enough to win while wearing the crown, you’ll receive an exclusive emote that shows the total number of Crown Victory Royales You earned during the season!
Slide into the action!
You can now perform a glide maneuver to increase your speed and dodge enemy fire. Just hold down the crouch button while running to pull a slide!
Starting December 11 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET, you can equip yourself Spider-Man’s web shooter. Use it to swing on buildings (the Daily Bugle is included!).
The retreat has also become more graceful. In a Down But Not Out state, you can crawl faster to reach the safety of your squad. You can also pick up items, sort your inventory, and open chests and doors.
Spider-Man swings into the new Battle Pass line-up
With the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass you can characters like Spider Man and later in the season, the leader of the seven himself: The basis!
The “Lotus Walker” is immediately activated with the Battle Pass Shanta. Earn these Battle Stars to unlock even more unique characters like the no-nonsense character Lt. John Lama, optimistic outlaw Harlowe, and more!
And now that Spider Man is in Fortnite, expect friends and foes of the web-slinging hero to stop by the item shop throughout the season.
The weather & wildlife
The storm is, of course, an omnipresent force on the island, but forecasters predict the gameplay will have an impact Lights and tornadoes in the not too distant future!
The weather isn’t the only thing to watch out for, as researchers believe there is a mysterious and undiscovered creature on the island. Unlike the previous one, there are no raptors roaming the island. Maybe you are afraid of this supposed beast?
