Tango Gameworks surprises fans with an all-new title, available now: Hi-Fi Rush!
At Xbox and Bethesda’s Developer_Direct, Tango Gameworks surprised fans by announcing and releasing an all-new game. Hi-Fi Rush – A wacky single-player rhythm action game like never before from the award-winning studio behind Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Evil Within.
Xbox Game Pass
Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm action game set in a colorful world where everything is driven by the beat of the music – from the trees swaying in the environment to every hit landed in combat.
Battle sequences align perfectly with the rhythm of the music, allowing for gameplay that is not only exciting but also extremely satisfying.
The player’s movements are included not mandatory like a traditional rhythm game – players have all the freedom of an action game. However, inputting actions on the beat amplifies the player’s attacks in unison with the music.
Players take on the role of Chai, a free-spirited slacker with rock star aspirations. During a technological intervention to obtain a robotic arm, Chai receives an unexpected “bonus” when his music player fuses with his arm’s battery.
And as if that weren’t enough, the company behind the experiment labels it defective, making it a target for attempted deactivation. With a squad of corporate generals and an army of robots at his heels, Chai must fight back through rhythmic combat and the help of a ragtag band of allies to take down the company’s ruthless managers and escape.
The game features licensed songs from iconic rock bands such as Nine Inch Nails and The Black Keys. Hi-Fi Rush delivers the beat, bangs the 12, and is available in Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as the Microsoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
