Dragon Age: The Veilguard is one of the most anticipated games of this end of 2024. It is true that we do not yet have a fixed release date, but the new BioWare game has deserved to be one of the most outstanding games among the many giants that will land in the last months of the year.
Furthermore, after several years of silence without showing anything, EA and the developer have launched a whole plan of promotion of the game that leaves us with news practically every week. And the last thing we learned about the game concerns a subject that gives us a lot to say: The difficulty.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have up to four difficulty options
He was on the microphones of Game Informer where BioWare talked about this topic and the different options players will need shape and adapt the difficulty to your tastes and experience. Thus, they have confirmed that we will have a screen where we can customize different options, such as selecting the difficulty or style of play that we prefer. According to BioWare itself, we will have several at our disposal: Storyteller For those more interested in history, Adventurer for those who want a balanced experience between story and combat and Nightmarewhere our skills will be tested.
In the first two, it will be possible to switch between them at any time, but In Nightmare, this will be a final and permanent decisionsince there will be no possibility to reduce the difficulty level. In addition, the company confirmed that there will be a fourth game mode, Unbound, which will allow us to further personalize our experience with different individual preferences. For example, one can change the screen inputs related to exploration, the sensitivity of the crosshair for ranged attacks, or even make our protagonist immortal.
None of these options are cheats. They are options to ensure that players of all skill levels can play with them.
