Preload Vessel of Hatred before launch
Sharpen your blades and prepare your quivers, for the reign of hate is almost here. In anticipation of Vessel of Hatred and the upcoming new season, the pre-download is available early on Battle.net, Xbox® and PlayStation® platforms.
Note that you can pre-download this patch, which includes Vessel of Hatred and our next seasonal content, regardless of whether you have purchased the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Play the Vessel of Hatred campaign.
The Vessel of Hatred campaign requires you to have purchased the Vessel of Hatred expansion.
First, create a new character in the Eternal or Seasonal Realm. You can select “Skip Campaign” if you want your new character to go straight to the beginning of the Vessel of Hatred campaign.
For those new to Diablo IV, we recommend that you begin your journey by completing the base game campaign to get the full experience before embarking on the Vessel of Hatred campaign. However, if you want to start the expansion content immediately, you will need to complete the main campaign prologue with a character to unlock the option to skip the main campaign with a newly created character.

Vessel of Hatred comes alongside important updates available to all Diablo IV players, such as systemic changes to leveling, difficulty levels, the Paragon system, and more. When you log in to Diablo IV, you can grab three new items from the in-game shop to celebrate the launch of Vessel of Hatred.
Magnificent prizes await the intrepid groups of wanderers who manage to conquer the challenging First Khazra-infested halls of the Dark Citadel. Out of October 8th – November 8thif you manage to complete the Dark Citadel you will receive this Reins of the Longfur Beast
Don’t forget to use the new Party Finder to find other like-minded players to team up with to battle through the Citadel.
Twitch Drops
While it’s adrenaline-pumping to brave the ferocity of the Servants of Hate, there’s much to be learned from watching others accomplish the same feats.

You will earn new Twitch drops every week This will reward cosmetic items such as weapon skins, recolors, and back slot items.
