A faceless man seeks revenge in the isometric stealth sandbox action game Winter Ember.
Publisher Blowfish Studios announces Winter Ember, a stealth action game developed by Sky Machine Studios that is played in a sandbox and from an isometric perspective.
As Arthur Artorias, a faceless man, you dive into the shadows and uncover a mysterious plot in which your family was torn from the history books. In the first winter night you draw your blade and seek revenge.
“Long ago, in the Victorian era, the once great city of Anargal flourished under the rule of the aristocrats. One of those carefree and privileged nobles, Arthur Artorias, had everything he dreamed of leading a life of luxury. After receiving ominous news from his father, everything will change forever for Arthur and his beloved city … “
“Infiltrate and explore a huge Gothic sandbox full of treasures and secrets to uncover. Move quickly and quietly through the shadows, monitor the surroundings and peek around corners and through keyholes in search of lurking enemies and hidden passages. In Winter Ember there are several ways forward and solutions to every problem. Stalkers are rewarded for studying their surroundings and for recognizing less obvious entry and exit opportunities. “
“Even if you are cornered and seemingly forced to use a weapon, Artorias can evade combat by crafting one of more than 30 specialty arrows to evade the situation. Water rockets, for example, can extinguish flames and create new dark hiding spots in which to submerge. “
Winter Ember appears for the platforms Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 | 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and GOG.
