There were plenty of surprises and announcements we got to enjoy during the latest Xbox and Bethesda showcase, and best of all, everything shown, we can enjoy it in the next 12 months; but one of the fastest released titles on Xbox is Naraka: Bladepoint.

And it is that the popular battle royale of 24 Entertainment makes the leap from PC to land on Xbox Series X | S, and not only that, but it will be available on Game Pass on the same day of its launch, June 23, both on console and PC.

Naraka: Bladepoint will land on Game Pass on June 23

Following this unexpected announcement, VG247 conducted an interview with 24 Entertainment’s Archer Wang in which he states that the arrival of your title to the Microsoft subscription service will be very beneficial to increase the player base of their title and reach a much larger audience, in addition to helping them establish themselves in countries where they already have a strong presence, such as the United States.

One of our main goals is to use Game Pass to increase the size of our community in countries where we already have a strong base. At the same time, we also believe that since Game Pass is a very global membership program that can be used by everyone: it can really help us expand our reach in all territories around the world.

Throughout the interview, Wang states that one of the main reasons to bring Naraka: Bladepoint to Game Pass was that it allowed them to be available on both consoles and PC, thus achieving access to a much wider audiencer, something they are of course delighted with. In fact, when asked by the reporter’s pernicious question whether he’s worried about rumors that games released on Game Pass would make less money for developers, Wang replied with “Not at all!”

There’s a reason we wanted to bring the game to Game Pass, we’re nearing our first anniversary and have done pretty well so far. So we think it’s going to be a long-term operation, and making decisions in that direction is an important decision for us.
