In anticipation of the July 26th theatrical release of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine and the release of the Deadpool-designed Xbox Wireless Controller, fans around the world have been clamoring for Logan’s very own adamantium-hard butt (on a controller, of course). And because we can’t resist a little friendly competition (certainly not out of fear of his temper), our team immediately began production on this Wolverine-inspired Xbox Wireless Controller.
Deadpool even decided to “promote” his bromance with Wolverine in the most Deadpool-like way possible – by putting up a billboard in Alberta, Canada. Because nothing says “you’re my best buddy” like renting out a giant billboard in the place where you first got your claws out. It’s the superhero equivalent of a friendship bracelet, only much more… public.
Wolverine’s muscular physique and iconic costume now give players a strong grip on the action with this Xbox controller. Soon, fans ages 18 and up around the world will be able to take sides in the rivalry by finding the dedicated promotional post with #MicrosoftCheekySweepstakes from @Microsoft on Instagram.
