Blizzard continues to explore ways to continue developing Word of Warcraft, one of its largest IPs. To do this, during the last BlizzCon we were presented with the future of the game, with a series of new expansions that are more interdependent and with a shorter waiting time between them.
But that wasn’t all, since they had up their sleeve a new game mode that they have just presented: a 60-player battle royale.
Blizzard announces the new Battle Royale for World of Warcraft
Through a new trailer, Blizzard presented us Plunderstorm, a new Battle Royale style PvP where up to 60 players will compete to be the last survivor and therefore the winner. In addition, the company announced that it is not necessary to have the latest update of the game to join a part of this new PvP.
In this way, Any player who owns World of Warcfrat will be able to jump with his hero to fight against the others. And, in case you’re wondering, neither will be missed the rewards it contains, as playing Plunderstorm will grant different cosmetic items for Dragonflight and WoW Classic characters.
