The TEKKEN World Tour 2024 starts in April with the latest installment in the series TEKKEN 8.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announces that TEKKEN World Tour 2024 will return as a competition-only tour this April, marking the competitive debut of TEKKEN 8, the first TEKKEN sequel in more than five years.
TEKKEN 8 was developed by Bandai Namco Studios using Unreal Engine 5 to bring the fighting game series to a new generation. Participants can look forward to combat that takes the series’ signature features to a new level, with new graphics, completely redesigned characters, destructible environments and an all-new “Aggressive” combat system.
TEKKEN 8 will be released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
New tour, new partners
Bandai Namco Entertainment is pleased to announce that three brands, Chipotle, Venum and Victrix by PDP, are among the first partners of the TEKKEN World Tour 2024.
- Chipotle: For a limited time, fans can choose the next TEKKEN 8-themed Chipotle menu by here vote.
- Poison: The collection line offers a blend of style, comfort and performance and captures the essence of three TEKKEN legends: Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix and Jin Kazama. The collaboration line will be available in the Venum store and in stores from June 2024.
- Victrix from PDP: The collaboration with TEKKEN includes a range of eight special edition Tekken 8 products: the Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller in a special Rage Art motif, the Tekken 8 Victrix Tournament Backpack and Tekken 8 character variants of the Victrix Pro FS Arcade Fight Stick with Jin , Kazuya, King, Law, Lili, and Xiaoyu. Pre-orders will begin at the end of January. The products are scheduled to be released in the US in April 2024 and worldwide in May 2024.
Tournament format updates
TEKKEN World Tour 2024 will feature global and regional rankings and the return of MASTER+, MASTER, CHALLENGER and DOJO competitions locally. The best players in each event type will be rewarded with points, with the highest scoring players in the global and regional rankings ultimately advancing to the Global Finals and competing for the title of TEKKEN World Tour 2024 Champion.
Master+ EVO Japan 2024
The 2024 TEKKEN World Tour will have two Master+ qualifying events, starting with EVO Japan 2024 on April 27-29. Participants can register now until March 22 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Further information on the remaining events of the TEKKEN World Tour 2024 can be found at tekkenworldtour.com
DOJO Events – Regional and Global Rankings
From the end of March, tournament organizers can submit their applications for DOJO events. Players who participate in DOJO events can receive both global and regional ranking points.
These events are offline competitions open to all players around the world, with the number of points awarded depending on the size of the tournament.

This year’s TEKKEN World Tour 2024 will begin on April 13th at EVO Japan.
