The friend list in the Xbox app on PC has become even more flexible with the latest update.
The official Xbox app on PC has received a new update that, among other things, repositions the friends list.
PC owners can now download an update for the Xbox app. With the latest update, the team has moved the friends list to the bottom right by default. However, you can also place them freely.
In addition, price information has been added to the store and shows the lowest price in the last 30 days.

Updated social experience
- We’ve moved the social tab in the Xbox app. There is now an expandable and collapsible Friends tab in the bottom right corner of the app by default. You can even expand this tab and drag it to a location that best suits your needs so you can quickly access your friends, chats, and parties while playing.
Store pages show more pricing information
- Browsing each game page in the Xbox App Store now shows information about the lowest price each game has fallen at in the last 30 days.
Notification Updates
- Games and events available to you through your Game Pass subscription will be notified through your Xbox app and Windows notifications. Learn more about managing your notification preferences here.
bug fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented Tell Me Why bundles from loading in various sections of the store and library.
- Fixed an issue where the “Chosen for You” section was not displaying content relevant to your game preferences correctly.
