The future without consoles is already here.
As Microsoft continues with its strategy focused on the Game Pass, the cloud is becoming increasingly important in this strategy. After deployment on smartphones, web browsers, PC applications and consoles, it’s the turn of the first televisions to have a dedicated Xbox Cloud Gaming application!
2022 Samsung TVs saw the arrival of the new Samsung gaming hubwhich brings together many applications from the world of video games: GeForce Now from Nvidia, Google Stadia, Utomik, Twitch. Consoles connected via HDMI will also be shown, while Center has a single controller for all cloud solutions as well as headsets.
Also exclusive for now is the new Xbox app that allows direct access to Xbox Cloud Gaming. It can be played directly on the TV no other device needed. With the arrival of Fortnite on Cloud Gaming and other future Free-To-Play games without subscription, it’s a great opportunity to offer access to Game Pass to all future TV owners.
