Con Aaron Greenberg in the leadThe team of Xbox game studios visited the past March 1 the studies of Kojima Productions in Tokyo. That’s ma inly because, as Hideo Kojima announced last December, Microsoft was backing him in his next ambitious project.
In his own words Hideo Kojima after the visit : “The project we are working on with Microsoft is a project I have been thinking about for five or six years. I talked to a lot of big companies about it and gave presentations, but they seemed to think I was crazy. In the end, Microsoft showed that they understood this and now we are working together on the project, including the technological aspect necessary to create it.
Looks like Xbox has a great tool to help Hideo: its huge cloud servers. In this regard, Kojima commented: “Thanks to Microsoft’s advanced technology and changing industry trends, I am now able to take on the challenge of creating this new concept. It may take a while, but I look forward to teaming up with Xbox Game Studios and I look forward to bringing you exciting news in the future.”
