In case that doesn’t ring a bell, Sea of Stars is an RPG that has gained a lot of popularity thanks to the fact that it exudes quality. The game tells the story of two Solstice Sons who will combine the powers of the sun and the moon to create the so-called Eclipse Magic, a kind of special force to defend the world against monsters created with alchemy.
This RPG has a turn-based system, so fans of this combat system will be eager to play it on Xbox. And that is precisely the problem, that it has not yet arrived and since they promised its arrival, it has rained a lot.
Sea of Stars was announced as an Xbox game, but no sign of its release
The game was announced in a Kickstarter campaign and was funded with player money. Among the promises was a version for Xbox “Sea of Stars would support all current-gen platforms”. However, to date, It only has a version for Nintendo Switch and Playstation consoles. In fact, the game continued to receive patches and support. But no sign of the Xbox version.
So what’s going on? Well, Xbox gamers who have put in the money and supported the title are pretty angry because not only is there no release, but until today it’s been absolute silence. Some testimonials from players to Sabotage Studio (What a poetic name).
I supported Sea of Stars because I was told it would be compatible with ALL current gen platforms. That was three years ago and you STILL can’t tell if it will actually be on Xbox or not. People are going to be frustrated.
The game’s official account responded by saying that “It’s been a few weeks of many changes
As we’ve said many times, just because it hasn’t been announced on Xbox yet doesn’t mean it won’t happen. We still want to bring the game to as many players as possible, there may be further announcements before launch. The plan to bring it to as many players as possible hasn’t changed, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes, and there’s still plenty of time before launch for one final platform announcement. Stay tuned, and thanks for the support.
