The update, which is already available for Alpha Skip-Ahead usersresolves an issue that affects many players. According to Microsoft, the issue caused checking for updates to take much longer than expected, or even not load at all. This means that instead of having to wait for the console to find the update, you can download it faster and easier.
Update 241003-2200 also fixes issues with entertainment apps
One of the most common examples of this problem is system buffering when trying to download updates. This can happen when you try to download a patch for a game and the console can’t find it. However, with the new update, this problem should be a thing of the past.
In addition to fixing the update checking issue, the new patch fixes unexpected errors that could occur when updating some entertainment appslike Dolby Access. This means that if you have encountered similar issues in the past, you will soon be able to enjoy a smoother and smoother experience.
