Microsoft shared its financial data for the last quarter along with some interesting facts about Xbox consoles. Generally speaking, the company had a good quarter, although in the case of Xbox and Surface hardware the last quarter was not positive either.
As we have known him through The edge, the revenues of these two devices continue to gradually decline. In total, Xbox profits fell by 31%, Microsoft justifies them by the drop in console sales, already resulting from a mediocre quarter in this regard.
Xbox hardware sales not improving this quarter
Gaming revenues have improved, largely, thanks to the acquisition of Activision Blizzard and the first effects on the figures are already being felt. To give you an idea, without Activision, Microsoft’s gaming revenue also reportedly fell during this quarter.
